Although this was a little bigger than I expected, it is still the best you will find for the price. It has everything you could possibly need for little mending projects and it's all organized so well. I was impressed to find 2 different sizes of safety pins and the fact that it comes with a tape measure (4 or 5 feet I believe) makes it a complete necessity in my house. The box is a little rickety, but I never expected it to be that nice and it doesn't seem about to fall apart anytime soon. There is well over $10 worth of supplies in here, so I can't be upset if they cut costs with the container. It would be hard to find a better deal on sewing kits.

I got this a couple of years ago because I needed a sewing kit. I have a Husband and a 4 year old son...so of course things need to get fixed. It has a great variety of needles, buttons, pins and thread. I recommend this to anyone who needs a small emergency sewing kit.

This came in a box that was taped around and around with thick tape. I thought that was odd, but when I finally cut through all the tape, the kit was in a bag that was also taped, but there were loose needles falling out of the bag's folds, which I thought was odd. When I finally got the taped bag open, the kit was in pieces. The compartment covers were broken (about half of them), and the pieces were completely loose. What is the point of sending me something that was broken in pieces before you sent it. I'm ashamed that Target would send such a sorry excuse for a product. This was such a waste - do not be tempted by the neat package you see online.

I've had a sewing kit for a bout 10 years that looks EXACTLY like this one so I bought this to replace the old one. Except that it's about half the size of a shoe box!! It barely holds anything. I'm totally disappointed.

It's got a little more than most sewing kit. What is really bad is the box. It's so rickety, that it barely holds together. Takes up more space than you might realize. Even the little plastic thing that holds the needles hardly holds together.

You are better off making your own kit. The case breaks very easily and so far the only things I've been able to use have been the needles and some thread. Not worth the money.

This thing stunk. The box it came in was ripped and when I opened the sewing kit itself, everything fell out because all of the compartments were broken. And like the other reviewer mentioned, the box was all rickety and didnt stay closed. The only good thing about it was the wide variety of colored thread, but not that it mattered because I sent it back the next day.
